Acts as a natural moisturiser
Almond oil provides a long-lasting barrier against the elements that helps prevent moisture loss, soothes and encourages teh healing of dry irritated skin, and relieves inflamed skin conditions, such as eczema.
Perfect base oil for massage blends
The oil is absorbed slowly, which makes it a popular choice as a massage oil base. It also has a delicate aroma that will not compete with the essential oils in a blend.
Can be used as a make-up remover
Almond oil removes dirt and make-up effectively, leaving the skin feeling soft and supple.
It is suitable for babies and young children
Almond oil is gentle enough to use on babies and young children, for example to treat nappy rash or cradle cap. Other gentle oils, such as olive and sunflower oil are also recommended for babies.
